Joel and Kadi 19th September 2009

What a great day, it was so much fun, this group always is. I love that both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen love to get into the fun shots. Kadi and Joel are such a beautiful couple I was so glad to get to photograph their wedding. My fav weddings are always the weddings where i have photographed other members of the bridal party, because it makes it more relaxed and the bridal party already know they can have fun. Scott and Amy was part of the bridal party, so i knew it was going to be a fun day, because they had lots of fun shots at their wedding. I recreated the same Closebourn handcoloured shot that we done at Scott & Amy's wedding, it is one of the popular shots that most couples want. We got to do a few extra shots on Morpeth bridge because it was empty, that almost never happens, and their old fashioned cars looked great in sepia with old historic Morpeth as the backdrop. There was a gorgeous sunset over the farmlands of Morpeth, for some romantic pics, then lots of fun shots on the jetty as the sun went down. The dark blue sky looks great with the hot pink dresses.

Nathan and Kiley 12th September 2009

Nathan & Kiley 12th September 2009

Nathan and Kiley's wedding was a special opportunity for me to see many people I have not seen since childhood. I have been freinds with Nathan's sister Renae since I was five, so it was a great honor to share that special day with the family. They were married at the catholic church in Cessnock, this is always a beautiful church to photograph. The day was perfect it was not too hot and just before the red dust came to town. The location for the photos was stunning with its glass like water, creating a beautiful reflection of the surrounding trees and setting sun. A perfect location for a perfect couple.

Mandie & Allan's Wedding 5th Sept 09

Mandie and Allan was married at the Sir Francis Drake at Heatherbrae, the venue had a old tudor style feel to it which matched their theme beautifully. Everything was in the one location so the day was really relaxed. Mandie was very calmly decorating the reception when i arrived making sure everything looked fantastic, and it did. Mandie and Allan are a great down to earth couple and i loved the way they was always looking at each other with lots of smiles and laughs at each other, very sweet, oh and Allan really played up to the old fashioned look with his cane and top hat and I think Daniel enjoyed it too, I think it was the fun they could have with those canes. My favourite was the golden sunset over the farm lands and how gorgeous Mandie looked in the golden light. Jacqueline also looked beautiful, I hope she likes those gorgeous portraits that was done on the bed while we was waiting for Mandie and Jan (mum) to get ready. Decided not to post Daniel's (groomsman) posing on the 4 post bed, there just for you for a good laugh.
Congrats guys, hope to see you in the future. Tricia.
